Welcome Me Adulthood

Welcome me adulthood. It was a long journey.

I've lived through childhood innocence, trying to hold on to it with all my might.
It was a trying journey, with all the temptations that was brought to me.
I was full of fantasies that left me oblivious to reality, but I've left those behind me.
Don't get me wrong, I still dream, because without dreams, life is empty
Pointless.
But now I have realistic dreams. Dreams that I don't lose myself in.
I am full of hopes of becoming who I want to be,
Not who the world wants me to be.

I know that I lost my way for a while,
